Ooohhhooo… bought the returned flight ticket from Melbourne - Miri today! Flight is confirmed now

Well, b4 everything has been finalised, the travel consultant has really gave me a harsh time. All these happen yesterday, she phoned me & well, she’s located in Glenorchy & I think that’s quite inconvenience for me, either to contact her, to grab the  flight ticket or just anything. But since she insisted me to do the booking wif her, I put my name in.

That’s when the nightmare comes… she sent me this invoice, with departuring date stated as 10th July 06 instead of Feb 07, and I’m flying to MIRRI instead of MIRI; and some other mistakes that i’m not going to mention here. Well, i told her in case there’s somewhere called MIRRI, then I’ll be flying to somewhere else instead of having my holiday in my hometown, sigh -_-||| & i’m wondering how am/was? i going to fly on 10th July 06.

Okie, she makes the correction, fair enuf. Apparently that’s a typo mistake. Anyway, I’m now happy wif everything & am preparing to pay in full. I requested for a pdf copy so that I can keep a copy of my itinerary & invoice. Well, she sent me the pdf file, yes she did! But… Man, how many times have I really had to mention about this. She makes the same mistakes as the first invoice that she sent me. Duh -_-||| I really get pissed off with these mistakes, i can’t stand people giving out the information to the clients without double-checking, and makes their clients worried. Now, she told me that’s technical problem.

Anyway, after all, since she has been treated me politely, and  i feel a bit sorry for her. As long as she makes the right booking for me, I’m happy with it! I paid in full today @ 4:30pm at Sandy Bay branch. Ooohhhoooo… I’m flying back to Miri, my beloved hometown for holiday in Feb 07, for a period of 4 weeks only though (coz my supervisors would only allow 4 weeks, in case I’ve been too slack wif my works afterall :p). Well well, I’m happy wif 4 weeks holiday, & flying to KK/Kudat for 5 days Really really looking fwd! Hvn’t been home since year 2002. The last time I’ve been home would be early 2002, say Jan/Feb. So, that would be 5years in total that i’ve not been home. Man, 5 years! I wonder how have I overcome the 5 years time. Oh well, I’ve had enuf, enuf wif studies… I’m going to shake my head off… I would have a splendid holiday

Oh well, since I hvn’t dropped in to write up a blog (after all the conference papers, progress reports, blah blah blah), here i go~

Wasn’t intended to write up a blog, but thanks to my dear, he must be very enjoying in his office, watching @ the $$$ figures (until he forgot abt me here in uni, stuck wif my work, sigh -_-|||), even better if it could continue to rise until the computer wouldn’t allow any fit-in.

Aiya, wat to do… this is as expected. Finish another progress meeting today, so don’t feel like doing any more readings or work or simulations… arrrgggg, remind me that I hv to get back to the basic principles of the electronics stuff. Wat? I hate it, why would I still need to get back to electronic components & their operating principles??? FYI, i’m a power electrical engineer, not electronic & comm engineer, but they’re still closely related as part of the power system is built-up from electronic components, say converters for converting ac - dc & dc - ac. Ahha… that’s wat I’m looking @, the HVDC transmission system. Oh well, leave it till tonite (i really hope i would get on with it tonite, haha - no movies ok!).

Hmmm… I’ve tried to slow down my typing, but the phone is still sitting there silently, sigh -_-||| waiting for e phone call from dear, quick ring please! I almost done with this!!!

Oh well, i should sit & see how long is he going to spend… i guess he must be sitting still in front of the computer, tell me abt it!
